Is a crying guy weak? You decide in Scott and Sadie's Life Court.

Here is Thursday's Life Court...

Scott and Sadie,

I have been dating a guy for the last few months. He's a good man and treats me well. I enjoy has company, but I wouldn't say there are "sparks." He did something the other day that so turns me off that I'm afraid we can't bounce back. Let me tell your listeners in Life Court.

The plan was for him to come to my place after his work for dinner. He showed up, came into my place, got a drink, and started to cry. I asked him what was the matter. He proceeded to tell me, through full-blown sobs, that his boss yelled at him and embarrassed him in front of his co-workers.

I kept saying, "And then what," expecting to hear that he got fired or his boss made a bunch of false accusations. That was it. His boss yelled because he missed a deadline. And that caused him to cry - full-on sob - at my place for an hour.

Now I just can't find him attractive. I think he's weak. I talked to a girlfriend about it and she said I was being too harsh and that it's okay for men to cry. Sure. When people close to them die or their dog dies or they're struggling with their kids. But not because they rightfully got reprimanded at work.

So, in Life Court, am I being too harsh? When is it okay for a guy to cry?

Thanks,
