The Age When Americans Finally Embrace Getting Older Is...

If we asked you what AGE you were when you finally embraced getting older, you might look back over the past few years . . . look back longer . . . search for an answer . . . and then say "12."

A new survey set out to find the exact age when most Americans are finally able to embrace getting older. And that age is: 47.

On average, the adults surveyed said they feel SEVEN years younger than they actually are. So that means people are ready to accept getting older once they FEEL like they're in their 40s.

The survey also asked people what everyday things make them realize they're getting old: And the top answers were . . .

Hearing songs they like on "oldies" stations . . . squinting to see small print . . . grunting when getting up . . . seeing a celebrity and having no clue who they are . . . and not being on the latest social media platforms.

And 10% of people say they feel old when someone calls their clothing "vintage" in public . . . which, frankly, should be considered a COMPLIMENT.
