A six-year-old Cheyenne, Wyoming boy's story is going viral, as he got between a charging dog and his little sister to protect her.
The dog proceeded to bite the boy, Bridger on his face and head. Despite the bites, Bridger was able to take his sister's hand and lead her to safety. 90 stitches later, he said “if someone was going to die that night, I thought it should be me."
The original post to social media has gained nearly half a million likes and thousands of comments. Bridger is now at home recovering from his injuries.
